I like the gradual self tanners that are out now, its easier to apply and your less likely to make a big mistake. The ones I like are Bath and Body Works and Clinique, they're about 20 dollars each.

To get lotion on your back you'll have to have a friend help you.Best self tanner for fair skin? do you recommend the spray tan or lotion? why? also, mention the price and?
I am fair and I use St. Tropaz. It's pretty pricey. You can by it at bath and body and sometimes at tanning booths if you can't get it there but last year I got it at bath and body. I apply it while wearing gloves of course. It goes on like mud so you can see it and it look all streaky when it's put on. It smells yummy! You have to have someone else apply it to your legs and back and use sparingly on joints and hairline. It has to dry before clothes can go back on. When you take a shower, it looks as though you are washing mud off but, a beautiful tan is left behind! I always get complements on my tan.
Estee Lauder sunless tan lotion and face cream. Spreads evenly and gives you a healthy un orange colour. Buy from david jones or myer. Costs about $80 for the face and body creams. Directions included
