Are spray tans really effective and is sun damage from uv rays irreversible somehow?

Spray tans are cool if done correctly. UV damage like most things depends on how much UV the skin has seen. The damage can range from skin looking old, through to skin cancer.

Ja.Are spray tans really effective and is sun damage from uv rays irreversible somehow?
Dont know about spray tans, they make people look like tangerines, however, my friend is now dying of skin cancer due to above. Sun damage on the whole is not completely reversible and it certainly is not for my friend.

Use sun tan cream with sensible minimums unless you are aclimatised. My wife has to get silly levels (family joke is factor 1000) and she still burns sometimes in 30mins with factor 50. Anything under 20 is no good even for colored skins and is just a rip offAre spray tans really effective and is sun damage from uv rays irreversible somehow?
Spray tans have got better over the last few yeras and come in a range of light golden to dark orangey brown depends on what you want...

and yes sun damage is irreversible, its been proven that even getting sunburn a couple of times in your childhood can vastly increase your chances of skin cancer/melanomas later.

I have a pale celtic skin and use 30plus daily and cover up otherwise. With the ozone layer thinning too you'd be advised to do likewise. Just be safe.
Go the the beach, wear sunscreen at least 15 - 20 and apply every 1 - 2 hours depending on how well you deal with it. 50 for the nose at all times.

Spray tans are horrible because they give you an orangy look. No uv Damage is not reversible.
if you get a good one then yes, if not then you'll probably be orange. also wear loose clothes after to allow it to develop nicely. and no i wouldn't think so!
