Do you go spray tanning and regular tanning to make it darker?

The girl at holly wood tans told me i should do regular tanning and spray tanning to get really dark? is that true? have you ever done it? My goal is to be a nice bronze color by may 2nd?Do you go spray tanning and regular tanning to make it darker?
what a coincidence. i have to be tan by the 2nd as well! I went to my tanning salon a couple of days ago and signed up for 3 months of tanning in the bed and I just got spray tanned for the first time ever yesterday afternoon and i LOVE it! I think it depends on what they use for a spray tan on whether or not you turn orange bc i'm not orange one bit! (NEVER use a mystic tan booth... i've seen too many of my girlfriends go in and come out orange and streaky... worst idea ever!) And it doesn't ';block'; the uv rays from the tanning bed. The stuff the put on your skin in a spray tan reacts with your dead skin cells and turns it the tan color you want (kind of like how a rotten apple turns brown... gross, i know). And as we all know... uv rays are better absorbed by darker colors so it'll help you tan quicker/deeper in the beds.





I know i'm gonna be looking great this saturday... and i'm gonna keep on w/ the beds so I can keep my tan!Do you go spray tanning and regular tanning to make it darker?
no no no no no. hun, bake in the beds... don't coat yourself in orange tinted chemicals after tanning. it won't necesarily make you darker.. just turn your already bronzeish tan into an ORANGE tan. whether or not you notice the orange tint, others will. i guaruntee it. [from experience haha] if you want a really dark REAL LOOKING tan, then go to the tanning bed starting at about 12-13 minutes and work your way up. exfoliate before hand and moisturize with any lotion afterwards. [not tanning lotion!!]





PS-- there are creams at your tanning salon that you put on before laying in the tanning bed that realeases more color pigment to tan your skin deeper and darker. it isn't a tan in itself though, its like sunscreen but it does the opposite when put under rays. hope i helpeeddd :]








ANNDD, if you do this for even a week and a half, you'll be DARK








EDIT: no, spray tanning after a tanning bed is just gonna make your bronze looking tan look fake.
shes retarded..if you go spray tanning it will coat your skin and be harder to get dark in a tanning bed ...thats why most people spray tan in the first place-so they dont have to lay in the tanning beds....to make your tan last longer ALWAYS use tanning lotion..it helps the tan sink in and makes your skin not try..
laying in a bed wont make the spray any darker. you can give your skin a REAL tan in the bed, and then have a spray gone over it to add more color and a glow. that's your best bet!
dont do a spary tan u can turn orange i would just use a tanin bed and a good lotion in about 2 weeks u will be dark
