I'm in a wedding this summer and would like to get some coloring. Im in my 2nd trimester. Are tanning beds safe? What about spray tans (with all the chemicals in them)?Spray Tan or Sun Tan while pregnant?
According to my doctor, beds are safe as long as you keep your body cool, have a fan on you on high. Spray tan is NOT safe because of the chemicals that you breathe in. The sun is always a safe bet.Spray Tan or Sun Tan while pregnant?
Why tan? You have an excuse girl. I wouldn't go out in the sun, or tanning bed. You probably don't want anything on your skin because it absorbs everything and enters your body. Just relax this year and put vanity off until the baby is born.
Direct UV exposure to your unborn baby is totally unsafe and could cause health risks, for you too. Spray tan would be your best bet because you don't have the risk of getting burned tanned unevenly, or the ';lobster syndrom';.
I know for a fact sun tan is not safe! you would be cooking your baby so thats not good! I am not sure about spray tan though i have herd of some people doing that and it being okay but i would ask a doc to be safe!
You should do neither of these. If any thing just lay out in the sun and get some color the natural way it will be safer than any of the tanning bed or spray tan.
No to the sun tan but you should ask your doctor about the spray tan. You can never be to careful about stuff like that!
Tanning beds are NEVER safe... unless you want skin cancer or leather-like skin...
not sure about spray tans during pregnancy.
