I am wearing a pink dress to prom, and I am pretty white, so I figured the dress would look better if I had a small tan. I do not tan in the sun, and I am terrified of UV tanning beds. Ask around in your area. People can really mess this up and for something like prom you don't want something cheap. Some of the chain ones are better because they have good corporate policies. the trickiest part is covering your hands and feet with the blocking lotion. well a versa spa is about 25 dollars depending on where you go...and you turn out orange. if i were you i would just try a bed, using it once wont kill you. hell im almost 14, and i use tanning beds all the time!
