i have extremely fair/sun protected skin, but would like to add some color for the summer. will the spray on tan cause breakouts or other skin problems? also, is it splotchy when fading?Has anyone had a spray on tan (done by an individual)?
Hey i always get spray tanned before certain events, i love it!!! You get it done 1-2 days before prom and make sure after you get it done that you wont be doing any activities like swimming sweating or showering for 6-8 hours, i just go home and watch a movie...after 6-8 hours you can shower as much as you want....all you have to do is keep your body moisterized, just apply a good moisterizer especially legs and arms, shoulders and face to keep the color from being exfoiliated off. It will come out really great and nonstreaky as long as you dont get wet or sweat for 6-8 hours afterward. Where I go a lady personally airbrush sprays you, AVOID machine spray tans, they look horrible....call around and ask for An Airbrush Spray Tan done by a lady.
You can wear your bathing suit or bra and undies, I do bra and undies since I dont wanna ruin my suits. Also bring baggy clothing to wear afterwards so you dont smudge color.
And where I go I tell them to use a light color bc i am pale and dont want it to look to fake.
Good Luck and it is totally worth it! But it only lasts like 5-7 days. and i've never had any breakouts or other skin problems.
It is also good to go to the beach with a spray tan bc you wont burn and it will be easier to add a little healthy color than if you were pale.Has anyone had a spray on tan (done by an individual)?
