Everyone thinks I got a spray tan...but I didn't?

I went to the beach and the lake and came back super dark. I've been like super pale, but I tan REALLY easy when I actually take the time to lay out. I went to a party tonight and everyone was flipping out thinking I went spray tanning. Is this normal? And how can I prove that I didn't? ughEveryone thinks I got a spray tan...but I didn't?
Yeah, that's happened to me before. I turned orange after mowing the grass one day, and everyone thought i went and got a spray tan. Just don't worry about them, they're just jealous! lol.Everyone thinks I got a spray tan...but I didn't?
It doesn't sound strange that people would think it's fake if your normally pale.





What I would do is think about what the situation at hand is - people don't believe that you are naturally tanned now. Umm, my natural response is, so what? They'll forget about it when summer progresses and everyone else starts getting as tan as you.





Let them make their little jokes, it will be nothing to anyone in a months time. The best proof you've got is time - time will tell that your tan isn't going away (or else you're spending a lot of money on spray tan lol).





Don't worry about it, and joke about it. I'd make jokes about how I can't afford a movie tonight because I blew it all on a fake tan, then laugh when someone asks you, 'are you serious?'. Keep a light heart about it, and it won't be a big deal for long.

-- If you want to get them good, take some pictures of you with a temp actual spray tan you can find at a drug store, and post them on your myspace or facebook with captions about your ganster style (you're just getting closer to your bros, right?) ;)
Ugh the same thing happens to me when I come in school all tan. One thing you can do is keep up your tan by getting a membership at a tanning salon or lay out at a beach or backyard. Another thing to do is forget what everyone thinks and just ignore them.
i guess tan lines really wouldn't do it


i guess there may not be a way to PROVE it maybe if your unevenly tanned but they will just have to get over it and except the truth

I tan easily too! If people don't believe you, let them! They shouldn't care. Tell them you didn't and if they don't believe you, you know and should feel good about your REAL tan!
