thnx xDoes a spray tan always look bad??
Spray tan contains metals which rust when they come into contact with the air, that is what you see as the tan - rust (nice)!Does a spray tan always look bad??
It doesnt look bad if you choose the right one and prepare for it correctly.

The spray tan I usually go for is California Sunless Tan. Remember the night before to exfoliate allover including your face, and especially on your elbows and on your knees.

Dont moisturise or wear make up on the day you go to get it done and wear loose fitting old clothes. After you get it down dont have a shower until the next day and then it will come up lovely.

California Sunless Tan reacts with the pigment in your skin which means that it wont look fake and orange because it will be colour that you would go in the sun anyway!

A spray tan is better for your skin as you arent sitting out in the sun for days and not risking skin cancer.

Good luck
ANY fake tan looks bad.

orange is'nt a skin tone.
It really depends on the brands of spray tans you use. You would also have to make sure that you have prepped your skin so that it would reduce streaking etc. Prepping would normally include exfoliation and stuff like that. Even in salons, you can still come out looking orange but they will make it look even and less streaky.

Another option, which would probably suit you more, is the gradual tanning lotions. I know many have come out, and not only do they give you the choice of what colour you'd like to stop at, they gradually build up so its less noticable. The lotions are probably safer than going straight into tanning, because you can choose to either go one shade darker or go for a full tan
i think i do
it can look patchy some times bet going to a proper tanning place you garantee no patchey ness
All fake tans look exactly that, fake.

Remember if you're pale you can't tan naturally, so fake tan looks awful. Some people just don't look right with a tan.

Be happy with who you are.
The one's ive had always turned out horrendous, the lighter your atural skin tone, the worst they come out. Johnsons summer skin is excellent though!! Takes a while to buid up but after it does you get a nice sunkissed tan!
go to a salon that has a good reputation ive had several done my last one at my wedding and have been very happy with all the results id suggest having one as a trial see if you like it if ya do get it done again
Spray tans generally look unnatural, especially when they are wearing away. It can look like you have a pigment problem!!

The best tan i've ever had was in the beauty room at Clarins where you are properly exfoliated and the tan is 'rubbed in' rather than sprayed and is allowed to 'develop' overnight. It also gradually wears away evenly, making it look far more natural.

This was written by my wife by the way ..... i prefer holiday sun!!
just make sure you go to a good tanning place where a person has a good bit of experience. or you can go to sun tan city (if you have them in your state) and do the mystic tan-other salons may have that as well, it works good just dont shave 24 hours before you go. it's always good to go into the tanning bed a couple of times to get somewhat of a base color so you will have less chance of turning orange.
