Is a spray tan harmful?

ok so i want to get a spray tan.but i dont know what i should do.and does it hurt to get a spray tann,i need some of you cool people to tell me how does spry tann work especially help from those of who had done it befroe.?how much is it?how do they do it and what should i wear?Is a spray tan harmful?

the first answer is wrong. the spray tan is the ONLY safe tan, (of course i mean from tanning beds and the sun), not the lotions. Spray tan is great, and its not orange, ONLY if you dont get it done right. You can pay anywhere from 25 to 75 bucks for one...and again, you have to do it the right way. it is safe, and no, of course it doesnt hurt!! its like a shower. I have had it before, my daughter is a medical esthetician, (skin care professional) So yes, perfectly safe. You stand in a stall, they give you a special cream for your hands and certain parts of your ankles and feet , and then a shower head type thing sprays you, The worker at the salon gives you specific instructions to follow, do exactly what they say, and you'll be good. Also, there are many good tanners on market today, not like the ones a few years ago, that turn orange, they have the gradual light tanning lotions that work great, ...dont go for the real cheap ones though, nutregina (spell check) makes a good one, so does este lauder. good luck and good for you for not being dumb and laying in a tanning bed or the sun! You can go to someone who does it, or you can go to salon where you go in alone and push button when your'e ready. completely private, it only takes a few minutes.
I can tell when someones wearing spray tan because it makes you look orange and it's fake looking. If I were you - I would not wear it.
