im going to a paradise theme birthday party saturday and since this june gloom insists on staying i need to get a tan in order to wear what i wanted. i also need a pedicure. is it a bad idea to do it on the same day? should i get one before the other? please help! thank you =]Spray Tan+Pedicure...good or bad idea?
I would get the pedicure first and then the tan.
If you do the tan and then the pedicure that tan could ruin the pedicure. And you don't want that!Spray Tan+Pedicure...good or bad idea?
Oh lordie.
I get spray tans alot, And pedicures
What you need to do is get the pedicure first, if your looking to do it the same day, Because you cant be around water for 4-9 hours.
So pedicure first.
They give you some kind of lotion to rub over your nails and stuff. so your good.
Best answer? :]
I would get the tan first the the pedicure?

Spray Tan and Streaks?
what is the best way to use the mystic tan, and not get streaks on your ankles and wrists?Spray Tan and Streaks?
once the tanning lotion is on
use a little bit of lotion (plain)
on wrist and ankles to blend..
like makeup blending
it works
also if you end up with streaks buff them off
in the shower with a pumice rock
every fake tanner needs a pumice rockSpray Tan and Streaks?
I don't know about the mystic tan, but I use Avon's Skin So Soft Satin Glow %26amp; I don't get streaks anywhere. They have a lotion %26amp; a continuous mist spray. I think it works so much better without causing streaks because it is a gradual tanner. You get full color in about 4 days. It gives you a chance to see where you are making mistakes so you can fix it before you are really dark. The color is really good %26amp; it actually smells good. All of the others I have used really did have a strange odor.
Just be sure to apply any sunless tanner thinly around knees, ankles, wrists, %26amp; elbows. More color absorbs there because of the texture of the skin %26amp; the fact that there is more skin to allow for bending. I personally like the lotions better. It seems like it is easier to make sure I don't miss any places. The sprays are easier to do your back though. If you use lotion be sure to wash your hands really well immediately after you finish applying to your body. If not, they will be very dark becuase so much is on them. Then put a very small amount on your hands so they are not lighter.
Go to this site to look at it. You can order it there %26amp; read customer reviews. I love having a place to read reviews before I buy. This brand has 5 stars in the customer rating.
you have to exfoliate a day prior, or you'll have orange splotches every where, also shave a day prior to self taning. Make sure it goes on evenly. Also if you didn.t use mystic tan, a technician could air brush u some times thats cheaper with the same result. You just wear old bikini, or bra and under wear.
First, before you go take a shower, shave and scrub your body clean.
Then, while in the mystic tan booth, push your hands up (best way I can describe it) so the wrinkley part of your wrist in now stretched out flat
what the guy said above me :)

Spray tan not working on me this time?
i got a spray tan done about 1month ago, it looked great, washed off within 2 weeks, iv just got another one 2day and it looks nowhere near as good as the last one but i went to the same place and she did it exactly the same
could it be because i was used to seein my skin darker? and i was expecting it to go really dark?
or should i wait untill the morning and maybe go speak 2 the women who did itSpray tan not working on me this time?
Emm.. these things aren't guaranteed to be the same everytime! I don't think that you should go and see the woman about it as if shes not done anything different its out of her hands you know? If the tan isn't streaky or patchy and just isn't as dark as you'd like then there isn't really a reason to complain and if you feel like you want to be darker maybe you should use gradual tan like johnsons or whatever to build up your tan to a darker shade! I know how you feel as when I tan, I'm often not satisfied with first application cos i like to be really dark but other people think that i'm already really dark! I think you're right, it probably is just because you're used to seeing yourself darker! hope it works for you! =)Spray tan not working on me this time?
What is it about the tan that does not look good? Is it uneven or just not as dark as you wanted?
yeah if its not working than stay in the sun go to wildwaters
why is ur avatar so black when ur soo white that u need a spray tan

Spray tan question......................鈥?easy points for people who know what there talking about?
I'm getting my first one on Friday evening at 8.30pm... but i'll be having a shower sat morning at 7.30am. Is this giving it enough time to develop etc? don't wanna look horrible on sat as i have somewhere to go (wearing a dress)!Spray tan question......................鈥?easy points for people who know what there talking about?
you aint gonna find someone who knows know what there talking about hereSpray tan question......................鈥?easy points for people who know what there talking about?
I did this for my wedding....First off, you won't be able to take a shower the next morning as you are wishing. If the salon offers the option of the spray moisurizer before the tan, take advantage of it. Wear very loose clothes, no jeans, and flip flops. I would definitely shower before you go, just to make sure that you give it enough time to develop, or schedule it for earlier on Friday, so you can shower on Saturday morning. I did my spray tan on Friday, and was unhappy with it. I had to go back and get it redone on Saturday for my wedding on Sunday. Definitely have it done about 2 days before your event, so that you can check your results!
Hi hunny. First of all what kind of skin do you have? Dry or normal if you have dry skin then you might want to reconsider. Dry skin and spray tan always becomes streaky. Ok but if you have normal then here is my advise.
I have a spray tan (Sugar based) done every Monday afternoon at 4 pm and I shower at 10pm I do this because if I shower to early then 4 hrs my tan will wash off. I wait 6 hrs because if I wait longer than that my elbow's and knees will turn an orange color. I do recommend showering at 6 hrs. If they have the Amplifier then I recommend getting it, this will allow then tan to come out more natural and helps reduce the risk of streaks.. I hope I helped some.
i work in a hair/tanning salon and we have a Mystic spray tan there. I have done it multiple times, and the rule is not to swim, shower, or sweat for four hours. I have waited the exact four hours before, and it completely washed off. when ive done it other times and showered the next morning, it lasted longer, and the color was bronzer and more noticeable. the amount of time youre waiting is perfect! your tan will turn out perfect :) good luck
To be sure ( i really know what i'm talking about i prmoise) take a shower at 8.30 if you can justto be sure then afterwards mosturise just to get any bits that have not dried in and make sure that you dont run ur dress to hair on your skin when putting it on just in case of marks!
hope ihelpedd :-) points? xx :L
yes it takes 6 hrs to develop
a good amount of time is 8 hours but ask the person at the tanning salon they'll b able to tell u more depending on the type of spray tan you get
yeah you should wait 8 hours for your fake tan to dry properly and set in before showering :)

17.5 weeks pregnant - can i still have a spray tan??
I want to get a spray tan (makes me feel better). I was wondering if this is acceptable, and would it work?17.5 weeks pregnant - can i still have a spray tan??
I don't think it's dangerous, but it might not turn out as it usually does. It's like colouring your hair while pregnant, you dont know what the results will be due to the hormones, etc. in your system. I used to be a colourist and i had a client who sat with an almost black colour on her hair for 30 mins only for me to take it off and her hair hadn't changed a bit! So, be careful, you might be patchy!17.5 weeks pregnant - can i still have a spray tan??
I use to have them alot then i read about them when i got pregnant again and they say not to, so if i have to go around white you can too lol xx
Hey I'm 28 wks pregnant and there are so many chemicals in fake tan I wouldn't if I was you.
I haven't dyed my hair, had my nails done or put tan on for 28 wks - I may look minging but I'm safe in the knowledge that I've done my best to protect my baby from these harmful chemicals.
If you need cheering up go and buy a new smock top theres so many in fashion at mo that will fit x
Well, I wouldn't want to breath in all that stuff while I was pg, but I'm not sure if it's really bad or not. I do know that the smell of it may make you sick now that you are pg and you will be stuck with that smell for several days. I'd stick to being pale.
I asked my doctor about the same thing and they said it wasn't advised, because of all the chemicals you breathe in, that it would harm the baby.
They wait until your so far gone before allowing t in most places but after that time (ring up your local salon to ask the time span.)
its fine as I get them done myself.
No it says in the info you cant!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a panflet here,it says not when you are pregnant.
Je55ie.. At Least U Will Look GLAM When the Baby Is Here..
Im Just The Same As You!
